Brut Rosé

Rating: 89 Points

Sweet strawberry and cream aromatics give way to tangy red berries. The palate is lively, with fresh currant and cranberry flavors with just a touch of cherries and cream. Done in the Charmat method, this wine offers ample freshness and lively acidity.”

Leora

Rating: 88 Points

An early pick from Benjamin’s Vineyard in Michigan’s Leelanau Peninsula. Aromatics of cherry blossom, candied orange peel and stone fruit in this homage to Prosecco. The palate is light and lively yet shows more complexity than one might expect from sparkling Pinot Grigio—rich pear and nectarine flavours and a hint of wet stone.”

2021 Grüner Veltliner

Rating: 89 Points

American Grüner from a 0.5ha site in northern Michigan made in stainless steel to highlight the aromatics and fresh character of the variety. Aromatics of wet slate, grapefruit and lemon leaf. The palate is accented by stony minerals, and lemon verbena finishes with salinity and smoky flint.”

A dry Riesling from a relatively warm Michigan vineyard block that shows impressive depth and complexity. Effusive aromatics of lemon curd grilled peach flesh and white flowers. There is ample texture, framed by grilled lemon peel, cardamom, and spiced pear flavours. Fresh and complex.”
