Erin & Wryan’s ceremony and reception took place at Aurora Cellars in Lake Leelanau, Michigan. The wedding party got ready and stayed the night at the farmhouse onsite. This was really neat because after the guests left the day of the wedding the wedding party got to relax, have a bonfire, and not worry about driving home. This wedding was simply sweet and natural, our favorite here at Stellaluna Events. This couple chose a palette of slate blue, burgundy, white, gray, blush, and greens. They had greenery as their main floral piece and it was stunning!
The morning started out very rainy and overcast, but as the day went on the clouds parted and it was perfectly sunny as guests started to arrive at Aurora Cellars. It truly was a wonderful and gorgeous day all the way through.
We’ve had the pleasure of having fur friends included in a few of our weddings. It is one of our favorite things, amongst many. We are so glad they Erin and Wryan were able to have their cute pups join them for their special day at Aurora Cellars.
Something that has become more and more common in order to save time after the ceremony with photos is to have a first look. This is where the groom & bride see each other before the big “I do” moment to capture every photo they desire, this allows them to get through family photos right afterwards. That means more time to mingle at cocktail hour and start to just enjoy the night without a long to-do list of photos!
Wryan, the groom, is a helicopter pilot in the coast guard so after the ceremony was over his crew did a fly over and waved from the helicopter. It was a really cool moment for all of the guests to see a little of what Wryan’s day to day looks like. We love having little, or big, signature pieces during the wedding that reflect our couples!
We really loved the garlands they had going down the farm tables. They were so full and the greenery looked so amazing on the tables. It can be simplest things that really help to pull together a wedding, and that was exactly the case for this aurora cellars wedding.
In current times, our couples have really had to get creative with their weddings to ensure their guests safety. This couple did just that for their aurora cellars wedding with a sweet touch for their dessert table. They decided to have mini individually wrapped pies as their dessert so it was COVID safe. How cute are these little treats!
Erin & Wryan, thank you for letting Stellaluna Events be a part of this wonderful day! Erin you were stunning and this wedding was one our absolute favorites with it’s simple beauty. We wish you both many years of happiness and celebrations together. Cheers!
