The New Strolling Self-Guided Vineyard Tour Offered at Aurora Cellars

Date

Aurora Cellars has a first-of-its-kind way for patrons to learn more about the wine grown and produced at the winery.

The Strolling Self-Guided Vineyard Tour of our vineyards will begin in August. The tours will begin near the entrance of the tasting room by scanning a QR code displayed on a trail sign. When scanned, Head Winemaker for Aurora Cellars Drew Perry will begin to take you on a walking tour of different parts of the vineyard. The walking tour will include a variety of videos that you can view on a smartphone.

To begin, patrons will hear an explanation of what it means to be in a cool climate wine growing region. As they go along the route, participants will stop at different parts of the vineyard to learn about several different topics, which include grape varieties, what makes our region special and unique, and other interesting facts specific to the Aurora property.

Patrons will end the tour at our tasting room where they are welcome to come in and enjoy our many award-winning wines.

“We are excited to give our guests the opportunity to be immersed in our vineyard along the tour and learn first hand from our winemaker about our property, the area, the grapes and growing practices, and why our region is special,” said Taylor Simpson, Co-Owner of Aurora Cellars.

The Strolling Self-Guided Vineyard Tours are available seven days a week during our normal business hours.

Come check out the tour and learn more about our delicious, award-winning wines! You won’t have this experience anywhere else!
