LEELANAU COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — A first-of-its-kind self-guided tour is now open at a Leelanau County winery.
Aurora Cellars’ self-guided strolling vineyard tour takes you through the vineyard with videos hosted by head winemaker Drew Perry.
By scanning QR codes throughout the tour, visitors can learn more about what goes into growing grapes and making wine.
“It gets them outside, it gets them walking through the vineyards, and hopefully will have more of a connection to the wines that they’re tasting after they’ve finished the tour,” said Co-Owner of Aurora Cellars Taylor Simpson.
The tour is offered year-round during the winery’s business hours.
Aurora Cellars is located in Lake Leelanau.
