Aurora Cellars offers two markedly diverse options to host your special event.

Aurora Cellars Estate

The Estate is perfect for weddings and events for up to 300 guests and rests gently on two level acres consisting of a small barn, a charming three bedroom, two-bath Victorian farmhouse with a spacious patio, surrounded by black walnut trees. A majestic willow tree, with opulent branches quietly caress the grass alongside the pond creating an idyllic setting for a wedding ceremony. The vineyard runs parallel to the entire length of the Estate. Call or email today and discover how your event can become more than extraordinary!

The Terrace can host events seating 40-80 guests and offers an old world styled tasting room and lovely patio overlooking the rolling hills of Leelanau County.

This presents the ideal venue for intimate vineyard weddings and rehearsal dinners.

Estate Wedding

 

Q: When does your wedding season begin?
A: Our Estate Wedding season begins mid-May and runs through October

Q: Is the ceremony held outdoors?
A: Yes, we seat your ceremony guests around our gorgeous iconic willow tree.

Q: What is provided in the tent?
A: Our 40 x 80 heated, high peaked Reception tent, clear sides, wooden farm tables, white wooden chairs, 3 Rustic Chandeliers & Bistro lighting.

Q: Are bathrooms included?
A: Yes, our upscale restroom trailer is included in the package at no additional cost.

Q: Is the farmhouse included?
A: Yes, you will enjoy a 2 night stay in our beautiful Victorian farmhouse built in 1875.  This 3 Bedroom, 2 bath fully equipped beauty is home from Friday through Sunday morning.

Q: Is there guest parking?
A: Yes, The Aurora Cellars Estate provides ample event parking in a designated area.

Q: What time does the Reception end?
A: Your Reception ending time is 11:00 pm, however, you are allowed to keep up to 30 guests on the property past 11:00 pm to enjoy an afterglow by the fire.

Q: Can I hold my Rehearsal Dinner on the property?
A: Rehearsal Dinners are allowed for an additional fee.  Please contact us at events@auroracellars.com for Rehearsal Dinner package options.

Q: Is full bar permitted and am I allowed to have creative décor’?
A: Yes, you are permitted to have a full bar, however all wine served must be Aurora Cellars.  You are allowed to customize your decor with your hired vendors.

Q: How do I order my wedding wine?
A: You will schedule your final wine tasting/selection 1 month prior to your wedding.   An Aurora Cellars Representative will guide you through this process and will also be on site during your reception to answer any questions about our wines and discuss the benefits of joining our wine club to enjoy our award winning wines in the future.

 

Terrace Wedding

 

Q: I’m worried about not having time to plan my wedding, do you help?
A: We include a Day of Coordinator, who meets with you for a scheduled planning session prior to your wedding date, runs your dress rehearsal, and orchestrates your timeline on the Wedding Day.

Q: When does your wedding season begin?
Our Terrace Wedding season begins mid-May and runs through mid-October.

Q: Is the Ceremony outdoors?
A: Yes, both the Ceremony & Cocktail hour are held outdoors in our beautiful Terrace garden.

Q: What if it rains?
A: In the event of inclement weather, both the Ceremony & Cocktail hour will be moved to one of our tented areas.

Q: Is the tent heated or is that an additional cost?
A: Our 20 x 50 high peaked Reception tent is heated at no additional cost.

Q: What all is provided in the tent?
A: Our 20 x 50 high peaked Reception tent includes clear sides, wooden farm tables, brown wooden chairs, 1 Rustic Chandelier, Bistro lighting and heat if needed.

Q: Where do I get ready?
A: We provide a well equipped Bridal Suite which you have access to all day.

Q: When does my Reception end?
A: Ending time is 11:00 pm

Q: How do I order my wedding wine?
A: You will schedule a final wine tasting/selection 1 month prior to your wedding. An Aurora Cellars Representative will easily guide you through this process.

Q: Can my guests purchase bottles of wine?
A: Yes, your guests are welcome to purchase bottles of wine to take home. Our Aurora Cellars staff are also happy to talk with your guests about the benefits of joining our wine club so they can continue to enjoy our award winning wines.
